If you’ve visited our Bright distillery, you’ve probably met one or both of our founders along the way - you might have seen Rachel (the 'Reed') at the restaurant and tasted one of her cocktails, or seen Hamish (the 'Co') behind the grill or looking busy in the distillery.
We are a very small but passionate team, doing everything ourselves in-house - from fermenting and bottling to mixing and making. That’s the reality behind every bottle of Reed & Co. spirits - and it’s also why we need your help.
We need a new canning line - and we need your help!
Being family-owned and run means we don’t have any investors. It’s all us. This business is our dream but, to keep mixing it in this industry, we have to grow and, to do that, we need a new, larger canning line.
And we can't beg, borrow, or steal anymore money!
Plus, we want to grow in a way that’s sustainable and aligned with our values.
We’re not crowdfunding.
We’re not talking about ‘investment’ dressed up as fundraising.
We’re not taking on any debt.
We just want to sell more spirits now - the ones we love making and you love drinking - so we can invest in new equipment to help us grow responsibly.
The Great 'Help Us Buy A Canning Line' Sale of 2025
So we’ve launching the Great 'Help Us Buy A Canning Line' Sale to help us get there.
And what do we need from you?
A donation? Nope. An investment? No.
In fact, we’re giving you something instead - the biggest discounts we’ve ever offered on a range of our best-selling spirits.
The Canning Line Sale (only our third-ever sale) runs until Friday December 5.
We're offering the biggest discounts we can responsibly manage - discounts that won’t be repeated. Think of it as buying into our future in the most enjoyable way possible: by drinking or gifting more Reed & Co. spirits.
You’re probably already inundated with huge Black Friday bargains coming from every direction. But we don’t usually discount our products. As a small independent producer, we can’t compete in a race to the bottom with internationally-owned or supermarket brands. But right now, we need to raise some capital to invest back into our business. And this is the right way for us to grow.
So head to the link below, and thanks in advance for your support. This is our best shot at growing while staying true to ourselves - and we’d rather do it with you than anyone else.
Cheers,
Rachel & Hamish
