Reed & Co Distillery was founded by chef-turned-distillers Rachel Reed and Hamish Nugent in Bright, Victoria in 2016. Together, they bring a background in hospitality, distilling and flavour-led food and drink to everything Reed & Co creates. With a passion for Japanese fermentation and local ingredients, Hamish & Rachel have continued to refine their craft and produce unique spirits right here in Bright.
Koji Spirits are crafted using traditional Japanese techniques. We produce our own Koji using high-quality Australian grains, which undergo a controlled fermentation process. This results in a unique and flavorful spirit that reflects our commitment to quality and balanced flavors.
Reed & Co. Distillery brings together a working distillery, cocktail bar, tasting room, bottleshop and restaurant in one venue. We are known for our award-winning Gin, our Australian-first Koji Spirits Shochu, and a hospitality experience shaped by both local ingredients and Japanese influence at our on-site restaurant, Koji Bird.
