This plum liqueur is 100% made by R&Co with aged Barley Shochu, Ume Plums and Green Apricot.

 

Every element of the beverage has been meticulously crafted by Hamish in our Bright Distillery, using 100% real Australian ingredients and no fake additives. The aged Shochu features biodynamic Barley from Central Victoria. The organic South Australian Ume (Japanese Plums) were steeped for 1.5 years to develop the fragrant tart and sweet flavour with almond-like notes that marry with the shochu.

The outcome is 100% Australian Umeshu which we are proud to say is pretty special!

 

TASTING NOTES

 

Aroma: Marzipan and sour cherry with underlying green almond

Palate; Tart with a nice balance of sweetness, long rounded finish reminiscent of Christmas cake or Stollen.

Notes of astringent apricot and almond, followed by tart plum that expresses a sour cherry profile.
