Do I need to book a table?
Yes, we recommend booking ahead for dinner at Koji Bird Restaurant - especially on weekends, holidays and busy periods in Bright.

How do I make a booking?
You can book a table at Koji Bird Restaurant below. Please book for the total number of guests in your group, including any children, so we can seat everyone comfortably.

Can I walk in without a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome for drinks and tastings - and for dinner, when availability allows. We recommend booking ahead for dinner to avoid missing out.

Why can’t I book on the date I’ve selected?
If you can't see your preferred date, it may be because bookings have not opened yet or because we are already booked out. Koji Bird bookings open around 2 months in advance and, if we are full, you can join the waitlist in case a table becomes available.

Koji Bird by Reed & Co. Distillery is a Japanese-inspired dining experience paired with spirits made by us. Koji Bird combines restaurant, bar and distillery into one destination, with handcrafted cocktails and Australian Koji Spirits that you will not find everywhere else.

What type of dining experience do you offer?
Koji Bird Restaurant combines the feel of a neighbourhood bar with the warmth of a Japanese Izakaya. Expect a flavour-driven dining experience, hand-crafted cocktails made with our spirits, local beer and wine, and wood-fired dishes.

Can I VISIT JUST FOR A drink?
Yes, guests are welcome to visit Reed & Co Distillery for Spirit Tastings or drinks.​

What are your opening hours?
Koji Bird Restaurant is open Wednesday-Saturday for dinner from 5pm.
Reed & Co Distillery is open for Spirit Tastings and drinks from Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm.

Is Reed & Co Distillery suitable for groups?
Yes, Reed & Co Distillery is suitable for groups. Groups of 8 or more will dine on our $72-per
person, 3-course sharing set menu.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for a range of dietary requirements. Please include your dietary needs in your booking notes.
Is the venue family-friendly?
Yes, families are welcome at Reed & Co Distillery. Koji Bird offers family-friendly early dinner seating between 5.15pm and 6pm. Please note that we do not offer a dedicated kids’ menu, and we ask that children are included in your booking so we can ensure the correct number of seats for your group.

& ACCESSIBILITY
What kind of seating do you have?
Our venue has three spaces: the main Dining Area, Spirit Lab Tasting Room, and Private Dining Room. There is a mix of seating styles, including standard dining chairs, bench seating and some bar-height stools (some with backs, some without). If anyone in your group has a preference or requires low seating, please mention it in your booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note we do not serve dinner outside during the colder months.

Is your venue accessible?
Yes, Reed & Co Distillery is one level and wheelchair accessible, with an accessible bathroom. If you have accessibility requirements, please mention them when booking so we can do our best to seat you appropriately.

IS YOUR VENUE DOG-FRIENDLY?
We have a small outdoor area at the front of the venue which can host friendly dogs on leashes. However, please note, we do not serve dinner outside during the colder months so this space may not always be available. If you plan to bring a pet, please mention this in your booking.
