Welcome to Koji Bird Restaurant in Bright, where we believe that food is best consumed with great drinks & good company.
Koji Bird is where the spirit of a Japanese Izakaya meets local flavour - a laid-back dining experience at the heart of Bright’s food scene.
Koji Bird came to life in 2021, when Reed & Co's chefs/distillers, Hamish & Rachel, were making Koji (Japan's national fungus) for their spirits. They couldn't resist putting the koji to good use over the distillery’s custom wood-fired grill - and Koji Bird Restaurant was born.
Enjoy dishes like woodfire-grilled Koji Chicken, Venison Tataki, Prawn Toast, Koji Cow (steak) and more, all served alongside our handcrafted spirits and signature cocktails.

RESTAURANT SEATING
Seating duration: 1.5 hours
Please book for the total number of guests in your group in one booking (including children), so we can ensure we have space for all of you on the same table.
The dining area consists of bar-height seating (all our chairs have backs) and limited seating at lower tables.
If you require a low seated table please add this to your booking notes and we will do our best to accomodate you.
GROUPS OF 8+
Groups of 8 guests or more will dine on our $67-per
person, 3-course sharing menu.
ACCESSIBILITY
Reed & Co Distillery is one-level, and wheelchair accessible from the Wills Street entry. If you have accessibility requirements, please make a note when booking to ensure you are seated at one of our low tables.

DO YOU ACCOMODATE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Please add your dietary requirements to the notes when booking. We can accomodate Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Seafood Allergy, Nut Allergy and Vegetarian. If you have more than one dietary requirement we will be in touch to advise or re-confirm.
CAN I DINE WITH KIDS?
Yes! Families are welcome to dine with us during our early dinner seating between 5.15pm and 6pm.
Please note, we don’t offer a dedicated kids’ menu, and we ask that you mention any children in your booking notes so we can ensure we have the correct number of seats for your group.
WHY CAN'T I BOOK ON THE DATE I'VE SELECTED?
Koji Bird restaurant bookings open approximately 2 months in advance, so if you can't see the date you are planning please check again closer to the time.
Alternatively, we may be booked out. In this case you can register for the waitlist and we will contact you if a seating becomes available.
