What is the role?

  • FOH Operatioanl leader of the distillery door and cocktail bar/restaurant 

  • Lead diverse range of tasks this includes bookings, internal events, staff training and assesments, record keeping

  • Work to kpi's, writing for rosters, weekly reports

Distillery Production Manager

What have we created?

A distillery focused on producing quality Australian craft spirits with the use of

traditional and modern techniques. A friendly place where everyone feels relaxed

that offers food to complement the beverages. A small bar that has an emphasis on

cocktails alongside wines, beer and house-made ferments. A restaurant/kitchen

focused on creating food entirely around wood fired cooking.

Who are we looking for?

A Production Manager who has prior experience working in a distillery:

The role entails: 

• Determining, implementing and monitoring our distillery’s production

strategies, policies and plans

• Planning and managing details of production in terms of output quality,

quantity and cost

• Monitoring production output and costs, and recommend cost reduction

initiatives while maintaining quality standards

• Research and implement process improvements to enhance production

quality and capacity

• Overseeing the preparation of production records and reports

• Co-ordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety

requirements

• Directing our production team and monitoring their performance

• Ensure that the final product meets our quality standards

and this experience:

• Minimum 5 years previous experience as a Production Manager

• Experience in research & development

• Experience in working in a distillery

with these essential skills:

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• A strong understanding of botanics

• Capable of managing a close knit team

What are we offering?

A full-time position with an annual salary between $60,000 - $70,000.
