What is Koji Bird?
Imagine an Australian chicken shop x izakaya. Think chicken and duck cooked over fire, pickles, and ferments.
Why are we so obsessed with koji?
As chefs, we have always been influenced by Japan and used koji throughout menus over the years,
it is extremely functional with a great flavour to match.
Our distillery has been producing more than alcohol, we have been experimenting with different forms of distillation and fermenting our own koji from barley.
Do I need to book?
Due to limited seating capacity, we will have an indoor set menu.
Koji Bird seatings are available Friday and Saturday
at 6pm and 7.45pm.
All bookings are via website.
18+ only due to restricted numbers.
If booze is not your thing please save your visit for
when we are at full capacity again.
No phone or email bookings will be available.
The Koji Bird A la Carte Menu and cocktails
are available outdoors Friday & Saturday.
Walk in, no bookings required.
